Fishing: Styrofoam Bait Cups

Weve all stopped at the bait shop and picked up some of those styrofoam bait cups packed with compost and worms. Styrofoam is a great breathable material to keep worms in for an extended period of time. Of course, youll want to let your worms live freely in their pen for as long as possible. But when its time to take them out, styrofoam bait cups are the best way to transport them.

Your Own Styrofoam Bait Cups
If you have your own worm farm, as many avid anglers do, youve probably carried worms in everything from a plastic baggy to a Coleman cooler. By the end of the day, your worms probably arent doing so well. Funny how it never occurs to the do-it-yourselfer to do things the way they do it at the store. You can go to any supermarket or wholesale store and buy styrofoam bait cups for your worms.

If you cant find styrofoam bait cups at the store, you can certainly order them online. Once you have some cups in stock, you can take worming to a whole new level. Your friends are usually always borrowing your worms anyway, so why not make a few bucks? Selling a cup of ten worms for a dollar or two will take the edge off your slim jim budget.

Growing and keeping worms is a fun hobby for any fisherman to partake in. You always know that youll have live bait ready to go when you are. Theres nothing worse than showing up at the bait shop before theyre open and having to wait around while the fattest fish are jumping around in the lake. With styrofoam bait cups youll always have a fresh supply of plump juicy worms on hand.
